Energy contracting (in short ECo) means that renewable energy installations are financed by others and the repayment is made through a reduction of the income you have for e.g. PV feed-in. Energy saving/performance contracting (in short ESCo) stands for thermal renovation of the building hull or new energy converters that save energy, where the financiers are compensated with a part of the savings you make.

In the FinSESCo approach pre-existing information from the energy performance certification are provided by data owners to the FinSESCo portal, where templates for renovation or new energy converters are filled. After getting quotations from professionals and your go, the crowd investing starts. Investors with the lowest interest rate demand are selected. The electronic tendering is done over the portal and the energy related payments are initiated by smart meters provided by the FinSESCo portal.

FinSESCo is a ERANet MiCALL research project funded within the EU HORIZON and by the national funding agencies in Austria, Germany, Spain, Romania, and India , the operator of the portal will be a licensed entity. In some countries the state may step in if losses occur.

Data protection and data security

Do not enter person related or relatable data. The server-generated information about the browsing client is stored. Data is stored in a password protected database at the server of the ISP using SSL-secured upload. Usage of the aggregated data is made only for the ERANet REGSyS project, individual answers are published anonymously only.
